A small hand-thrown bowl sized for rice, dips, nuts and side servings. The matte black surface is built up with terra sigillata, an ancient burnishing technique that gives clay a soft, low-sheen finish without a heavy glaze.

Every bowl is shaped by hand, so no two are identical. Slight differences in profile, tone and texture are part of the making, not faults.

MATERIALS

• Red clay body
• Lead-free glaze
• Fired at 1000°C

CARE

Hand wash with warm water and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive scourers and sudden changes in temperature.

Packed in a custom-made recycled cardboard box.
